Each patient works one-on-one through a series of visually directed exercises. Vision therapy sessions are conducted in-office, once per week for 45 minutes and are supplemented with at home therapy to be done between office visits.

At what age should vision therapy be done?

Our vision therapy patients range from school-aged children to adults.

Do you take insurance for vision therapy?

Insurance for vision therapy is not accepted, but we are happy to discuss payment plans/ payment options.

How long does vision therapy take?

The length of treatment varies with diagnosis and the individual needs and goals of the patient. The average number of sessions needed is 16. Progress evaluations are performed by Dr. McGann after every 8 sessions of vision therapy to assess improvement and to alter patient’s individualized vision therapy plans.
